JUNEAU'S BEST

Narrated bus tour of historical Juneau with experienced guides. Learn history, development, & colorful local lore! See downtown Juneau, Mendenhall Glacier, University of Alaska/Chapel by the Lake, protected wetlands, and other local sights. Enjoy 40-45 minutes exploring Mendenhall Glacier. (The USFS Visitor Center charges a $3 per person to enter and this fee is not included with the tour price).

CITY, GLACIER & HATCHERY TOUR

Includes a historical downtown Juneau tour plus traveling past our Governor's Mansion, 40-45 minutes at Mendenhall Glacier, and a tour of Macaulay Salmon Hatchery taking about 40 minutes. Fully narrated, includes hatchery admission fee. This tour is only available late June thru early September when the fish are returning. MENDENHALL RIVER RAFT

WHALE WATCHING

Experience the grandeur and awesome scenery on this expedition by helicopter. Fly by Mendenhall Glacier, exquisite mountains, float over Juneau's Icefield (about 25 minutes of actual flight), PLUS a landing on a glacier (about 15 minutes on the glacier). The pilot provide interpretive talk during your walk on glacier surface. Flight is narrated, jackets and glacier boots provided.

GLACIER DOG SLED TOURS

The helicopter flight is only one part of this legendary experience which includes flying over the Juneau Ice Field to the dog camp, a kennel tour and the dog sled ride. When you take off, glaciers are seemingly within arm's reach, mountains will unfold in front of your eyes as you embark on your flight to camp. With 80 Alaskan huskies and hear unique personal accounts of the Iditarod, back country experiences and have an opportunity to ask questions. Glacier boots provided.

This is our no frills experience offering direct transportation 14 miles from downtown to the Mendenhall Glacier. Transportation run every 30 minutes beginning at 9:00am till 6:30pm on most days. Let our Bright Blue Bus take you out to the "Blue Ice Cube."

This excursion covers the highlights of the summit and Klondike Highway to the Tutshi River and on to the Yukon Suspension Bridge.
